Hello! I’m Branda Nong, and I’m wrapping up my final semester at Texas State University. Rosie's Network is my capstone project, but I’ve actually been working on it for a few weeks now, and I’m super excited to see everything come together! The idea behind it came from one of my close friends who works at the Beaumont Exxon Mobil Refinery. I’ve heard her share her challenges as a woman in a male-dominated field, and that really inspired me to create this platform. Rosie's Network is just a concept for educational purposes, not a real app. Maybe one day there will be a platform like this to help women break into industries that are traditionally male-dominated.
